All Aboard!

View in spring

All aboard for a cruise on our porch!  When you sit at a particular angle and gaze at the sunset you have the cruise picture you need – just Insert Ocean for and you’re there!  The cruising rates are so low now as well --too bad hurricanes are close by! Well, it’s ok to dream, eh?

We are so sorry to be missing the Irwin Reunion next weekend.  If there was some way to get me off the nutrition pack,  we would have tried try for it but I don’t see that happening.  Then, of course there is the G-Tube issue for drainage which we CAN manage but does present issues from time to time.
Hope all in The Dells, WISCONSIN attending the reunion have a rocking fun time and the "Irwin through the Ages "video comes out well (a video taping of several hours of each family).  Thanks Jeff for doing this! About 20 years ago they taped Patrick’s Aunts and Uncles about growing up on a farm during 20’s and 30’s.  This tape will feature about growing up in the 40’s, 50’s and 60s.

Anyway, all is but ok here but Patrick has a cold, Boo-Hiss.   We have been in a lot of doctors’ offices, which is where we think he picked it up.  Now we need to put it down, so to speak!  We have lots of fruit juices here as well as plenty of time to rest so he should be well soon.

The hearing loss in my left ear has been treated by 3 doctors so far this month and they cannot find the cause!  Bummer!

I am still suffering from dry mouth and have tried every juice in America.  I have developed various combinations and they are beginning to help. . . Thanks to Jim for his variety of wonderful fruit ices – cannot wait to try the tropical fruit one. Also thanks to everyone who has sent gifts and cards recently.  They are all much appreciated!

Grand Baby Norah seems fine from the photos and we miss her first touch!!

Last Sunday we celebrated our 12th anniversary.  Lots of great memories and thoughts of people and places.  Instead of us going to the Western NC zip line place, we stayed at home, and as Patrick noted, celebrated as probably no other couple has ever celebrated as we successfully changed out my G-tube (1 hour process)! Not sure if the 12th anniversary gem stone is plastic, but if it is, then we qualify with the G-tube.

Love to all of you!

Peggy

  2. Hooray, so glad to see your message! : ) You are hilarious! I’m glad you are cruising on your gorgeous porch and sipping your juice cocktails while you enjoy the sunset. Perfect way to celebrate your anniversary! Happy Anniversary to you two!! And, yep, I heard that the gem stone is plastic so you definitely qualify. The Irwin video sounds like so much fun and I hope they are sending you a copy. What a neat idea! Tell Patrick I’m sorry about his cold (Yuck!) and I hope he feels better soon. Not much new here except that we have a very sick stray kitten keeping us busy with lots of meds. He’s a lot better, though, so we hope he will continue on an upward path. His name is Parker and I’ll post photos soon! Hi to everyone and thanks so much for the update!! : ) Michelle

  3. Well Happy Anniversary. We are working in Baltimore and will not be home till 10/25 so if you have that get together know that we would be there if at all possible. Keep up that sense of humor and all will be good.
