Last Saturday, the 11th, Peggy had such bad stomach pain and nausea, we elected to
go to Mission Hospital. It has taken about a week now to get the pain in to a controlled
situation. A CT Scan was taken and compared to the one she had in late June. Unfortunately,
it revealed that the cancer was growing despite Peggy having had two chemo applications since
the first Scan.
We are hopeful that we can go home in the next few days if the pain remains manageable.
We will keep in touch soon.

ReplyDeleteDear Patrick and Peggy,
ReplyDeleteYour grandbaby, Norah, is beautiful! You must be very excited about her arrival. So sad to hear that Peggy is in such pain and had to return to the hospital. I hope the pain is under control by now and that she's feeling more comfortable. We think of you often and hope for brighter days.
Love,
Sharon and Barry
Hi Patrick & Peggy and furry friends,
ReplyDeleteYou guys are in our thoughts and prayers so much these days. Feeling rather guilty for not getting to see you more since North Lodge sold and now wishing we had corresponded more often.
Anyway, hope grandbaby Norah (she's precious) will be able to come see grandma Peggy soon and of course, you too Patrick.
Please know you are always in our thoughts and prayers and we love all of you so very much. It was just a short 9 years ago when we became work related and friends. Time truly does fly.
Give the CHD and Alie a huge squeeze from us and hope we can see you soon, if only for a few minutes.
