Nothin' Could Be Fina. . .

The Ostomy Support Group discussed reconnection or reversal and although it was from an iliostomy perspective, not coloscopy (Ili is small intestine), we did learn a lot and I see no reason NOT to do the reconnect.  It is only getting through the next couple of chemos and then on to the scalpel. (!)

I am looking forward to Asheville in that is is actually getting pretty H.O.T. here. . . not today which is a balmy 76 but this weekend was red hot. Our next trip is actually to Asheville and then not much travel until the fall. 



My cousin John & his wife Joanne participated in a monkey simulation of "see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil" since we are all such good people!  HA!  We had a great time with them and miss them!

Patrick is getting a colonoscopy tomorrow so we all know what he is going through tonight and has had no food at all today.  Poor baby!  We'll be at the surgery center at 7 a.m. tomorrow.

    Hi Peggy-Cute photo of you all! Sounds like you had a wonderful time with John and Joanne! I'm sure you have stayed busy, too. And I’m so glad the reconnect sounds like a good option. I know you have been really eager to hear more about it. That’s wonderful that the support group has such helpful information. I really hope that Patrick’s test goes well—no fun at all—but at least it will be over. I’m sure you will both be very tired after waking up so early. So, get some rest and hope the rest of your day is a good one! :) Michelle
