I feel just great. . .have some energy now (I guess it was lost for some time there). It is like someone lifted that big ole rock from my shoulders. I am also drinking coffee again because it is not irritating my bladder which is such a relief.
We aree hoping for some sunshine when Ryan and Sarah are here so we can do all the theme parks in Orlando. If it rains we'll run through the raindrops! We are also visiting the Kennedy Space Center and St. Augustine. Can't wait.
We had to take the VW Passat into the dealer yesterday for the third time due to an engine light issue. This time they will repair it once and for all, right?
Congrats to Barry Silverstein & Sharon Wood who were mentioned in the Asheville Humane Society newsletter as angels and
that they truly are! They helped Chain Free Asheville get off the ground 2 years ago (our fist major donor) and have helped us right along, building fences and contributing funding. We love Barry & Sharon!
Our
SHARE THE LOVE campaign begins tomorrow. . Hundreds of toys and treats have been contributed for current and formerly chained dogs and Tiffany (give it up for another angel) will be sorting them for the ChainFree Cupids who will deliver them to 65 dogs this Sunday. We hope to get some media attention on Monday. Thanks to everyone who has contributed toys, treats, and dollars. It has been quite an effort to assign the wonderful cupids to the dogs all over the city. Again, thank you Tiffany!!!!.

I want more photos of you riding around on the trike, ok? :) And you’re right about Sharon, Barry, and Tiffany being heroes! They are AWESOME!! Good luck with the car repair, too. Is it the “check engine light”? Our Montero Sport has always had ongoing electrical issues—10 years now! Apparently, it has something to do with that particular model, at least that’s what the mechanics say. The “check engine light” goes off and on by itself sometimes too—although it stays on almost all the time. But they have checked the engine repeatedly. Various dash/radio/gearshift lights don’t work either—it’s very frustrating. Hopefully yours will be fixed this time! Hi to Patrick, Reese, and Allie! : ) Michelle

ReplyDeleteThey now think it is cables so the check engine light has now gone off -- we are going to pick it up in a few minutes. . it has been there 3 days.
Next time I am going to ask for a new car . LOL
