Darn Platlets. My score (50) was too low to administer chemo on Monday so they will do it Friday. I also had a sonogram today on my sore elbow which, as it turns out (and I am not supposed to know this but she told me) there is no blood clot -- whew! It is perhaps a pulled tendon. Heat packs help a lot!
Took my first FREE class fromYale last night, Introduction To The New Testament from a history and literature approach. They have several free courses and if you visit http://oyc.yale.edu/ you will find them.
It continues to be cold here (55-60) but we are chinning up and suffering! LOL!
Going to watch the Social Network tonight on DVD-- should be good!
Overall, I still feel pretty good but the fatigue drags me down after about 5-6 hours.
The eyes are still tearing under 50 degrees (irritation of the eye causes this) and the stomach ache each a.m. We WILL get this all under control soon, though, right? RIGHT. I really hate not feeling well -- I have too many things I want to do to help the dogs.
I think about all of you, esp. at this Valentine's time.
Love,
Peggy
Hi Peggy-Hopefully the platelets will be ready for tomorrow! So glad to hear the good news about your elbow. At least the heat is helping, too. I think that’s really neat that you are taking Yale classes—go, Peggy, go! How was the Social Network? I saw it a few weeks ago and thought it was really interesting. I read that the twins in the movie are actually played by one guy—weird, huh? They had the original guy and then used another guy as a body double. Then they went back and morphed the original guy’s face over the body double’s face to make the second twin. I doubt I explained that very well . . . anyway, hang in there, and I feel sure that your eyes and stomach will improve. Oh, and we had a little more snow this morning but nothing substantial. Take care! :) Michelle
