OK. . if I can get through today (hump day) it's all downhill, right? My stomach (although it could have been been another organ) dictated my life yesterday. I wish we all (esp. moi) knew more about the human body! Anyway, the pain killers took away the pain, but they take about an hour to work. Maybe I could get a IV installed in our bedroom? I am still taking them.
We are excited about our day --visiting Old Town Melbourne and going to the movies,so long as I feel OK.
Ryan and Sarah are coming to visit us this winter in Florida. We have a guy who will give us a behind the scenes of Kennedy Space Center --he was GOD ( Ground Operations Director) there until he retired! Ryan will act as our interpreter. ;-)
I miss Reese and Allie although I know they are in good hands with Aunt Pauline.
Friday is a big day with a one hour meeting with Dr. Johnson, the drawing of the blood and analysis using the C-125 cancer marker to see where I am with that. They moved the CT scan and the psychologist until January (I have no idea why)
We're going to Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church on Sunday to get re-connected. They have a number of social justice programs where we can help (if I feel OK).
Thanks for your support and good cheer !!! Have a happy hump day! With or without a camel.
Hi Peggy—Happy Hump Day! Hope your stomach behaved today so you could have some fun. I know it’s not much fun to keep having to take more meds and then deal with all of the side effects (and then take even more meds to deal with the side effects!). I am sooo excited that you are in Melbourne!! Enjoy walking on the beach and taking it easy. Old Town sounds interesting—hope you got to go! That is so much fun to hear that Ryan and Sarah are coming and you will be touring the space center. Wow! I know you both be excited to see them! Thanks for letting us know that your appt is on Friday BUT now you have to forget about it and enjoy yourself. You are not allowed to think about the appt anymore until Friday morning—ok!?! (I feel sure that you will get good news so do not worry about this during your vacation). I know you’re wondering about the weather . . . it’s miserable here! Very cold but at least the wind stopped. Brrrrrrr!!! We only got a dusting of snow but it’s been in the teens at night and stays below freezing during the day. And it’s supposed to be like this for awhile. Anyway, now you will really appreciate your FL weather, huh? ENJOY yourselves and have fun! :) Michelle
