Feeling GRRRRREAT

Today I feel better than I have in a long time.  The infection is clearing up, my depression is slowly lifting and we had a lovely visit with Jean and Don (the wooden reindeer maker) last night.  We shopped a little today and we're going to put up the tree later this afternoon.  I'll take some pictures.

Cancer?  What cancer?!  We are not due back at Mayo until the 10th (yeah)giving us a week for our jolly ocean view hotel stay Monday-Wednesday.

Your prayers and thoughts must have gotten through.

Thanks so much!

  3. Peggy:
Wonderful news! It would seem that Mayo is the right place to be. A doctor named Dr. Johnson, has to be winner.

  4. Hi Peggy,
Just read the last few days of blog posts. So glad you're feeling happier now. There are lots of excellent medications for depression so I hope the doctors find one that helps you. The pictures of the Mayo Clinic are certainly impressive! I didn't realize it as an entire "campus." You're right --- we might be in for a dusting of snow tonight. Up to 4 inches predicted in the mountains. I helped out at the shelter today. They were taking photos of peoples' pets with Santa. One big burly guy came in with his huge Akita. Everyone was a little "on alert," but this Akita was a total mush --- sweet, friendly, gave kisses. It was a gorgeous dog and the picture of her white and brown head against Santa's white beard was precious. I also groomed a matted shih-tzu and a matted Persian cat. Now that they look better, they will be put up for adoption. They'll get snapped up right away. Both are very cute/beautiful. I'm making homemade fudge tomorrow and hoping I will have the willpower to put it away until holiday time and not eat it all. Chocolate doesn't stay around very long in this household! So glad to hear your days are brighter. Thanks for keeping us all posted on how you're doing. We love you and miss you!
    Hugs,
    Sharon
