Feeling Better due to YOU!

You all made me feel so much better just knowing you are out there and reading these posts!!!  Dr. Johnson prescribed something for me but due to some communication problems we don't have it yet -- should be at Walgreen's (sorry Natalie) by tonight.

Thought I would share some photos with you.
The first is our porch and back yard when we first got here.  It is now a lot colder but expected to get to 60 anyway.
Can  you find Reese?

Here is a Mayo Clinic banner.  This campus
seems to be as big as the Biltmore.  It is huge!!
More photos of the fountains and grounds
Urology anyone? ;-)
Gil and I, taken this morning before Patrick took him to the airport in Orlando (Only $60 to fly direct to Asheville!)  He drove our Altima all the way from W-ville and entertained us and we had a great time.  Hated to see him leave.  Such a great guy and dog lover (of course!)

This photo is Thanksgiving morning -- the tradition of cinnamon roles and Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade with my new bed jacket compliments of the Palmers.  Fits well and allows room to grow eating those rolls!   ;-)

  1. Hey Peggy—I read your blog every day but then I forget to post comments, so I’m catching up (as usual). It’s great that you are keeping us posted—thank you! The photos are the best part--hahaha!!! I love the urology photo (though it took me a second to get it!). So glad you have not lost your awesome sense of humor! :) Great photos—you look wonderful—and I LOVE your sunny porch. It looks like Reese enjoys it, too. Do he and Allie still hate the grass on their paws? I hope not—they should be enjoying their lovely yard. The Mayo campus looks beautiful . . . I am so glad they are taking such good care of you. And the sunshine!!! (I’m so jealous). I have to give you a weather report. Today it has been snowing, 29 degrees all day, and very windy. Be glad you are in FL! Thanks again for the photos. : ) Michelle

  2. Thanks, Michelle! You always make me smile with your notes of encouragement for not only moi but R & A too! Tomorrow, we're off to Melbourne, Fla (2 hours away) as our gift to each other. Aunt Pauline will be here in the a.m.

The UTI is gone , thank goodness, but still have some issues but I do feel better. Next chemo and Ct scan and psychiatrist (for depression check in) is Friday along with new labs on the blood -- an all day session. We will ask Pauline to come again. I have now lost 23 pounds. Maybe that means the ascetis is not growing. Keep your fingers crosssed!

The dogs will go in the back yard but Patrick still walks them several times a day.
