Update
Peggy has elected to discontinue the TPN nutrition. In reality, she was able to tolerate it for just few hours a day recently and therefore not very helpful. She is comfortable, but weakening considerably, as expected. This decision was made a couple of nights ago after a 2 hr visit from her hospice doctor.
I am sorry to be the writer of this disappointing news, but I believe it is truly the best path for her now. We are still at home with professional help of CNA's and RN's when needed and generous neighbors and friends for support. Ryan and Sarah arrive very late tonight with our grandbaby, Norah. I am sure this will cheer up Peggy as Norah is now 10 weeks old.
We thank all of you for your emails, postings, phone calls, flowers, visits and well wishes over the past 4 months.
Love to all,
Patrick
Love love love to all of you. Please hug Peggy for Casey and me, a bunch of times.

I continue sending lots of thoughts and prayers of peace and grace your way. I so enjoyed our visit last month, I am glad it worked out to be able to spend some time with you both. Please give that grandbaby a big hug from her cousins in GA.

Thank you for the update, Patrick. I'm so sorry and hope that Peggy is comfortable and able to rest. I know you have a wonderful group of doctors and nurses and I am so glad that Ryan, Sarah, and little Norah have come to visit. Sending love and hugs to all of you, Michelle
