Dresses

For months, as many of you know, I have been complaining about my stoma and the pain I experience almost daily.  So while we continue to try to find a surgeon to re-site it, we have found a partial solution and it is very simple.  I am  not wearing any waist binding clothing any longer.  I have officially switched to dresses. . no jeans, no slacks, no skirts. . only dresses without waistbands.  Found several sheath type dresses on sale yesterday (yay) so wish me luck with this nonmedical proposed solution!

We are getting the house ready for our renters who will be here Monday for a tour.  We are also beginning to think about packing. . .don't want to rush that ;-)   The carpet cleaning people we used, unfortunately, were bait and switch people so I had to report them to the BBB and got confirmation of my opinion of them from another neighbor after we used them, so these folks are really bad actors.  Where are ethical business practices?  The ad said five rooms for $49.99 and his estimate as $379.  We ended up negotiating down to $200 but I still feel like we were ripped off. But we had already moved all the furniture and he was here and well, we went ahead.  Grrr. . I really got mad over that.

Reese goes to the vet for his weekly blood test today and to check on his eye which was beginning to bother him yesterday.  Dripping and closed shut. It is not red nor swollen though so that is a good sign.  Maybe he just has a hair in it?

Well, here's wishing all of you a Happy Mother's Day and weekend!

Love,

Peggy

How will they get adopted? Do you bring them to Petsmart? How does AHS's system work? Saw Jolene today at BroWolf. They are really moving ahead. . amazing stuff they are doing. Let's plan to get together sometime soon. . would love to see you. Do you think they have any of those Cinnamon buns left at plant?
