Even though we will meet with resitance and brother, it will be big. . we are proceeding as best we can to get dogs off chains in the county. We have had supportive meetings with some and not so supportive with others. Watch this space for news of that.
Books-a-Million is closing in Asheville and we went there last night and loaded up. I am still in the Founding Fathers mode and feel so happy about the books we got. Patrick got sojme too for our trip to Myrtle Beach next week.
I am trying to talk with my cousin in Wales via Skype and find it not as easy I thought. Both of you have to be online at the same time. He had to be in my contact list, etc., etc. Ain't like picking up the phone and dialing. Oh well, it will be fun to chat (for free) on Sunday.
All for now. Hope all of you are faring well.
Love,
Peggy
Hi--oh no, i had not heard that Books a Million closed! that was a great idea to go and buy books on sale . . . you always have great ideas! i haven't tried skype but, like you, i assumed it was really easy (since everyone else seems to do it). hopefully you can work out the kinks and get it going. it seems like such a brilliant concept! natalie's parents have used skype to watch their grandkids open gifts at christmas--they said it was lots of fun. good luck with it! :) michelle P.S. did i tell you a bear came to our house? neighbors kept telling us that there was a bear hanging around. of course, i rushed to the window with my camera and only got a blurry photo (the bear just looks like a big black dog in the pic!).
