Today Is Good News

We are  lucky to live in a county which has mandatory spay/neuter and a brand new animal shelter.  We are also lucky to have David Gantt running the commission.  He supports our position on anti-tethering and was very gracious in his advice to us.  We shall pursue everything he recommends and look for a law this fall, hopefully.

Asheville Radiology called and the directions I was given by the doctor at WNC Cancer were wrong.  I need to drink two bottles of contrast media before my CAT scan tomorrow, so I need to go in at 1 p.m., not 2:30 to drink the second full bottle.  Amazing lack of communication there!
So instread of having my labs at 1 p.m. I will have them on Friday at 4 p.m.

So, not much else to report.  See you soon!

Peggy

  2. Thanks! I have received some additional information from other folks regarding the law so everything is going very well. I do hope you and Natalie will come to the hearing and wear red again. I'll let everyone know the exact date but we're looking at October 18th we think to be on the agenda.
