Yeah, well, I know it is not Christmas, but these gladiolas have ertainly brought us a lot of joy! I planted these glads two year ago and since we left Florida in late April we did not have a chance to see them bloom because they bloom in May (now!) in late May. We are really loving them. One of them is almost 3 foot tall now! They also love the 95 degree weather we are having.
The countdown (ASHEVILLE OR BUST) has begun with Patrick leaving day after tomorrow to take the first load to W-ville and then flying back here (I still cannot drive 8-10 hours) and then he and I and the dogs and computers leave on June 2nd. I am getting exctied to see all of you again.
Love,
Peggy
Hi Peggy-Beautiful! And I can't believe it's 3 feet tall! And I also can't believe you'll be back soon (it feels like soon to me--although I know you wanted to be back a little earlier). But you will be here soon enough :) That's a great plan to have Patrick taking a load and flying back. He can give you a weather report and update on good 'ole Weaverville, too. I hope he has a safe trip (good luck, Patrick!). Packing is keeping us really busy but it's going so well! We closed last week and according to both realtors and the bank it was THE easiest closing they've ever had. We are all friends now--everyone has been great--so it was easy and fun and we are planning on moving this weekend. We can't wait! Hi to Patrick, Reese, and Allie! :) Michelle
ReplyDeleteMichelle! How wonderful you are moving!!! I still cannot believe it. The house is so charming. You must be very happy and glad the stress will soon be over. We are moving but we have ony l/8 of a house to move and no furniture so I can imagine what you are going through. What is your address so the moving fairy can send you a little note?
