Patrick's Heart Is That Of Someone 18!!!!

So that is what his doc said this morning.  She also mentioned another type of cancer that is based in the peritoneal cavity which I am researching now -- I don't think I have it (pseudomyxoma) and it is not what you think with the pseudo part.  They are real tumors but not easily detected.  I don't know enough to say what the pseudo really means though.  I'll keep you posted on the research.

Next chemo is Thursday.   Today we have Howard from Asheville for lunch and then errand running.  We've had too much fun with guests -- now we have to get back to work.

I love my Yale class & would encourage everyone to check out Yale's offerings at http://oyc.yale.edu/

  1. Hi Peggy-That's SUPER news about Patrick's health! What a wonderful health report . . . I'm sure you were both really glad to hear it. Hope you are feeling good right now, too. That's fun that you are having another guest soon--it really is like your own B&B (you are pros at this, after all!). I'm sure it's fun showing everyone around the area, too, and playing tour guide. I'm looking forward to seeing more photos of your adventures, too! Hi to Patrick (and give Reese and Allie an extra treat from me). Have a great day! :) Michelle
P.S. And good luck with your "pseudo" research, too . . . what a weird name for a type of cancer. I bet every single time a patient with that type hears their diagnosis they are briefly relieved for a moment--and then are told that it's bad news after all. They should rename it--maybe you can come up with a better name after your research?!?
