On to the Surgeon!

Today was Chemo #9. . only 3 procedures left --or 6 weeks.  After that period,  the Cat scan will be performed which is the decisive factor as to whether we move forward with the reconnection.  So we shall know April 21st how it looks.  The surgery will be done at Mission in Asheville.  Assuming a 6 week recovery, I am hoping the week of May 2nd for the surgery, allowing me 8 weeks to recover before Seamus comes to visit in late June.

The answer to the early morning cramps is to take a pain pill at 2 a.m.   I also do NOT have the pseudo type of cancer Patrick's GP indicated .  I have signet ring cell.  So that ends that .  Frankly, I had not done much research on it . . . so I am going to take my oncologist's PA word on this and not look further.

Today's chemo made me very tired but the peripheral neuropathy is not nearly as pronounced as with earlier chemos.

"night all. . . .got to get that beauty sleep.

Love,

Peggy

PS to Gail, Kim and Aunt Jean:  Glad the flowers arrived.  Aunt Jean, you have fallen apart (a partial pun) since we saw you!  Come back and we will put helmets and safety glasses on you as well as help in any way we can!  We pray for you each day!
