This is just a brief report of our cruise.
1. I am working on a cruise blog which will be linked to this blog soon. Parts of the adventure (as they call it) got our rating of 5 stars but others were only 1 star. Overall we will say the cruise rated a 3. It was far less organized than Carnival but hey, it was a cruise so just being on a cruise gives it extra points (!)
2. Mid-week I was sick with a sort of Montezuma revenge-type thing but I made it through. It was not the food -- I believe it was the meds, but what do I know?) It really ripped me out for a while there.
3. The Mayan ruins were pretty amazing, and I stole a heart-shaped stone which I will paint in Mexican colors to use as a paper weight to remember our trip. They were an extremely advanced civilization. I want to know more.
4. We meet some great folks. Four of them helped us win the GRAND PROGRESSIVE trivia contest. (60 arcane questions)! What was our prize, you might ask? We received an umbrella (just amazing) plus a magnet plus a coffee mug AND a medal. We are so happy that Patrick won a lot of money in the casino (true)
5. It rained terribly on Day One but for the majority of the time it was great (a little humid)
So, watch for the Mex-i-cana Blog-a-cana!

Hi Peggy-Looks like you two had lots of fun . . . and I can’t wait to see the cruise blog, too! The fb photos are wonderful! In the Radiance of the Seas photo I love your bright, festive, shirts and hats. I’m sorry you had a little Montezuma issue but so glad to hear it resolved pretty quickly. That’s so neat that you went to see the ruins—I’m jealous—please post more photos for us to see. And I hope this week’s chemo hasn’t been too rough. You look fabulous in your photos and I really hope you are feeling good. As far as an update from NC . . . we don’t have any snow right now! It was supposed to snow a few inches but we only got a few flurries. Yippee!!! Take care, Michelle :)
