Tired

Fatigue is not funny.  It is not like you are unwilling or unable, just too tired to do things.  It is like narcolepsy I guess.  I cannot imagine my having a real job  with this level of fatigue.    This is on the "checklist " of side effects to occur, I just did not think it would be this severe this early in the treatment plan.  I feel like I am trying to pull an all-nighter in college.

Still suffering from neuropathy (burning your skin from touching cold objects ). I picked up the lemonade pitcher in the fridge and down it went.  I felt like someone burned my hand.'

Well, we're having some folks over today -- one social and one business so I need to run -- fat chance of that! LOL.

Peace and Happiness to each of you .  Please let me know how you are doing.

  1. Hi Peggy--The tiredness and neuropathy both sound very irritating—hang in there! A friend of mine was telling me about her experience with chemo a few years ago and the hot/cold issue. I had never heard of this before. Sounds awful! She also said metal silverware “tastes” awful during chemo and that she had to use plastic forks/spoons. Have you experienced a funny taste? Thanks for keeping us updated and have fun with your visitors today! Very exciting! : ) Michelle

  2. We used plastic forks for a while-- so I know what she tasted. We are back to regular silverware. Some of these little irritants are over soon after they begin -- thank goodness.
