Peggy... strange that we name our devices, my IPod is called Fred and the Computer is Tart... still not sure why it got that name... must be a McGuire trait...
ReplyDeleteWell here it’s a beautiful Autumnal day, not many of the golden/reddish leaves left on the trees after the last blast of wind blew through on Thursday night, a few house lost some of their slate tile, we just had a few overturned deck chairs... I think we get the tail end of the Caribbean storms as they peter out after crossing the Atlantic, I'd rather the blue skies and warm water than the wind, but what would we have to look forward to... I guess you didn't know that the Cardiff area has one of the highest rain fall per year in the UK just like Donegal, Ireland it’s so green... but I think I won't mind it being less green if we could get more sunshine...
The holidays are almost upon us, it will soon be time to start dressing the house and getting ready for winter… I'd hoped to have given the lawns their final cut of the year, as the weather turns colder growth has almost stopped… but with the ground so wet I cannot get on them to cut so I'll wait until we have a bit more wind to take the moisture away... so its domestic chores this weekend for me and Martine... and as always shadow or Bailey the supervisor is ever present, to make sure we don't miss a bit or if we do stop he's straight in for a fuss....
I'm going to make a dash for a coffee refill as Bailey has headed off looking for another toy to temp me with... he doesn't like all this cleaning 'milarkey' (nonsense)... I get the impression from him that he wants more play and less cleaning... So I have a choice whose wishes to follow Bailey's or Martine's... Mmmm I'm not sure... well it’s off for a coffee, chat soon...
As always Bailey sends his regards to Reese and Allie… pass on our kindest regards to Patrick
Seamus and Martine x
So glad to hear that you and Charlie are settled in at home. I know you were getting lonely without VacBuddy to keep you company! Good luck, get some rest, and keep us posted. We're thinking about you! :) Michelle
