Well, yesterday I declared November 22nd a beauty day and got my hair and nails done. Might not seem like a big deal to you (or to most normal people) but it was the fist time I had been out in a long time. It was delightful especially following a night of horror with pain like I have never had. Patrick called the Asheville Cancer Center at 4 a.m. -- thank goodness they are open 24/7 and we got permission to increase my pain killers. We were afraid to do that without discussing it with a doctor first. Anyway, we did and the pain went away within 30 minutes.
Great talking with my brother- in -law Bill and Mr. Bill (who can do it all) yesterday and receiving more gifts and cards. Sincerely, you all are too generous. Thank you so very much..
Still have peripheral neuropathy and inability to focus longer than 5 minutes or so . . . plus the double vision . . . so today we're searching for a doctor who can help us with the eyes.
The Mayo Clinic knows more about me now than almost anyone alive. .. I cannot begin to tell you the detailed questions they ask. Anyway, tomorrow is our first :tour: I'll let you know.
I am delighted to report that Tiffany Cannoncro and Leslie Otto will be running/coordinating Chain Free Asheville at lest through the winter. Hats off to them for this very generous offer. Bravo.
