Cannot wear slacks -- even with elastic waistbands -- too much pressure on the wound.. So ordered a jumper from Blair.com. We'll see how this works. Perhaps I can become an Earth Mother. With Birkenstocks ;-).
The nurse says probably another 3 weeks or so on the vac. ;-(
We played a great story telling game today about a woman with a crooked nose and a grape from outer space (you had to be there). What a riot she is. This a.m. was not quite as painful as prior tapings have been.
I went upstairs for the first time -- piece of cake. Such stories they tell you to keep you down on the farm. This was not hard at all.
Will do More walking each day. . but I am going to kill whomever made it so frigging cold outside.. .we're into 2 layers at least. It takes me 10 minuets to get ready to walk the dogs -- with the vac and the cords, and the hat and the gloves and the coat. . .I know, I know. . it is all relative and I have been toasty warm inside for so long I have forgotten how to build up that macho I can take it attitude about the frigid wind whipping along this mountainside. Plus we don't live in Wisconsin where their summer was over months ago! HA!
Still addicted to Law and Order and Jerry Orbach. Thank God you can record about 50 of them every day.
